Acupuncture is a healing technique that is over 2,000 years old. It involves the insertion of extremely fine, sterilized, single-use needles through your skin at specific points on the body.There is a simple but important Chinese saying, "If there is pain, there is no free flow; if there is free flow, there is no pain." Acupuncture balances and harmonizes the free flow of Qi (energy) in the body.  Based on Chinese medicine theories, an acupuncturist is able to evaluate where the qi is blocked and how to restore free flow and balance.

Michael Wiltse has been a student and practitioner of Chinese Medicine for 10 years. As a graduate of Tristate College of Acupuncture in New York City, he has had the opportunity to study and intern with some of the most influential scholars and teachers of Chinese Medicine. Michael has had the privilege of being a student of Kiko Matsumoto and Thea Elijah. Michael is a Protégé of Lorie Dechar in her 5 Element Acupuncture Mentorship.

Michael’s interest in the body as a place of healing started when he learned meditation more than a decade ago. Like all things in life, what we focus our mind on grows.
